Special ME/CFS journal issue: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: Medical, Nursing and Public Health Management

The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health has opened a call for manuscripts for a special issue “𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲: 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁”. The special issue editors are Australian researchers Professor Sonya Marshall- Gradisnik and Professor Donald Staines, co-directors of the National Centre of Neuroimmunology and Emerging Diseases, Menzies Health Institute Queensland, Griffith University.

This special issue is organised by the Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI) which are involved in a collection of special issues focusing on ME/CFS research across a number of international journals. 

In particular, this special issue is set to report on many features of ME/CFS including clinical characteristics, diagnostics, potential treatments as well as epidemiology and public health policy.  This also includes the current global COVID-19 pandemic and its association with ME/CFS.  

Manuscripts are accepted up until 31 August 2021.
